What do you feel this course (UN100) should focus on? What do you need help in, specifically?
I feel that UN 100 should focus a little bit more time on college life, for example... how to get everything organized and not feel any stress about anything. I'm still kind of stressing out about not being able to get a hold of my advisor and i still have questions about what to do by the end of the semester. When do i sell my books?, When and how can I reserve my 2nd semester books?, and When I am able to register for my 2nd semester courses before they are filled up?. These questions have bothered me for awhile and i'm just looking for some answers. Class wise, i really don't have anything specifically to work on since im doing good in Chem, Anatomy, and English,....math is a little below standards at this point...but there is that make up test on Tuesday....

Excellent! We are going to cover books at the end of the semester (when it's time to buy/sell but in plenty of time to do so) and we are going to do an entire 2-3 year college plan on paper of the courses you will need to take in the near future. We do that in the beg. of Nov. when it's time to register for W'09. Yay!
About your advisor -- if you show up to Academic Career Advising Counseling-ACAC-(Hedgcock, top floor) you can walk in and request a new Advisor since yours won't return your emails/phone calls.
10/10
hey chris, i agree with you, i'm really curious and stressing about signing up for classes as well. But really don't worry so much, kelly will help you out, she helped me out so much before school started becaue i was in her Upward Bound program so i know you'll get the help your looking for. The book idea though, once you have your classes its really simple and so much cheaper to order online. you just type in the ISBN# and the books pop up. Basically you sell your books at the end of the semester while the professors put in their order or request i guess you could say.. you get your money for it that way if you do sell it in the store ( i suggest selling online)
Thanks Heather! :)
I agree about selling/buying on-line and I will walk you guys through it in class step by step a bit later this semester.
